Syzyfowe prace (The Labors of Sisyphus) is a Polish historical film, based on the novel of the same name by Stefan Żeromski. It was released in 2000.

The action takes place in the first half of the nineteenth century in the Polish territories annexed by Russia. The main character, Marcin Borowicz began his education in high school in the cleric. There, he meets with Russification, which is initially unaware.

It is summer 1884, Marcin Borowicz travels with his mother and Joseph seem to Kielce Gymnasium. He gets to the initial class. Martin has difficulty adapting to life in Rozwrzeszczanej.
